Claire Danes Reveals Her Daughter’s Name

Actress Claire Danes (known for The Beast in Me, Homeland, and for us 90s kids, My So-Called Life) and her actor husband Hugh Dancy (Law & Order) have revealed the name of their third child, a daughter.

Now two years old, the little girl — whose name is being publicized for the first time — is named Shay. This gender-neutral name has Irish origins and means “Hawk.”

During a recent appearance on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast, Danes shared that Shay is a lover of dance, being especially partial to a dreamy “kind of [head-swaying] dance.”

Danes and Dancy have two other children, boys named Cyrus (13) and Rowan (7).

Derek Hough is Dancing into Dad-hood!
