Derek Hough is Dancing into Dad-hood!

Dancing With the Stars judge Derek Hough is a first-time dad! He and his wife, Hayley Erbert Hough, welcomed their daughter Everley Capri Hough on December 29th after first revealing they were expecting in July.

This is an especially poignant moment for the couple, who have previously battled miscarriage and Hayley’s emergency surgery to treat a brain bleed in 2023.

As for their name choice, Everley is an English name that means “From the boar meadow,” while Capri refers to the Italian island of the same name. While both names are considered gender neutral, they lean feminine – perfect for a bouncing baby girl.
