Supermodel Kate Upton and Husband Justin Verlander Welcome Baby #2 and Revealed Their Baby’s Name
Supermodel Kate Upton is a mother of two! The Sports Illustrated model and her husband Justin Verlander, a baseball player, have welcomed their second baby together. The baby name and birth date of the couple’s newborn was also revealed.
The model and San Francisco Giants player, who hadn’t previously shared they were expected, welcomed a baby boy on June 19th. The couple chose to name their first son Bellamy Brooks Verlander. A rep for Kate revealed the news to TMZ, and the couple hasn’t shared their baby news on their social media pages.
Baby Bellamy joins the family with the couple’s first baby. Kate, 33, and Justin, welcomed their first baby together in November 2018, a daughter named Genevieve. The couple’s daughter goes by the nickname Vivi. Last year, the supermodel shared in an interview that Vivi is just like here dad and that they’re both ” “big rule followers.” But there are a few things Vivi gets from her mom. “She loves to dance and have a good time, and she loves to be in the moment,” Kate shared. “I think she gets that from me.”
The model and her husband started dating in 2014 and the MLB player popped the question two years later. The couple tied the knot in 2017 just days after Justin’s team at the time, the Houston Astros, won the World Series. While they don’t post personal content often on social media, Kate did share a celebratory post for the couple’s anniversary in 2022. “5 years down… forever to go! Life with you never gets old. I love you @justinverlander. Happy Anniversary!”
