Country Singer Cooper Alan Reveals Sex of 1st Baby with Wife Hally: ‘Sharing Our Last Lil Secret’

Earlier this month, country singer Cooper Alan announced that he and his wife Hally were expecting their first baby together. Now, the “Holy Ghost” singer’s wife has revealed their baby’s sex. “sharing our last lil secret.”

Hally shared a video to Instagram of the couple sitting together with two cupcakes that would reveal their baby’s sex. The inside of the cupcake had icing in either pink or blue. As the couple bit into the cupcake, they revealed pink icing. It’s a girl! When Hally saw the icing, she exclaimed, “I knew it!” Upon learning the news, the couple excitedly hugged and kissed. Cooper, whose real name is Tim Cooper Jr., admitted, “I thought it was going to be a boy, but I’m so excited it’s going to be a girl.” In the caption of her video, Hally gushed over her husband writing, “so thankful I get to do this with you.” The couple hasn’t shared their baby’s due date yet.

The “Feel Like Hell Today” singer first met his now-wife in high school and, while he had a crush on her at the time, the two didn’t start dating until they were in college. They dated for five years before Cooper asked Hally to marry him in May 2022. One year later in September 2023, they tied the knot in Linville, North Carolina. After his nuptials, the singer gushed in an Instagram post, “Best day of my life ❤ I love you so much WIFE! Can’t wait for our life together.”

Congratulations to Cooper and Hally on the news of their baby girl! We wish them all the best as they await their daughter’s arrival and look forward to learning the baby name they choose for her.
