Singer Cassie Ventura Reportedly Gives Birth to Baby #3 with Husband Alex Fine
Singer Cassie Ventura is a mother of three! The “Me & U” singer has reportedly given birth to her third baby with her husband Alex Fine. The news comes after reports came out that the singer was en route to a hospital in New York City and admitted to labor and delivery.
Sources close to the couple have told media outlets, including TMZ, that the couple’s newborn arrived a little earlier than Cassie’s due date but that mom and baby are doing well. Cassie and Alex welcomed a baby boy, news that the “Long Way 2 Go” singer confirmed in March. The baby name the couple chose hasn’t been shared yet but will likely be revealed when they announced their baby’s birth on social media.
Cassie announced in February that she and Alex were growing their family. She shared black and white images of herself, Alex, and their two children with the singer’s baby bump in view. She added a blue heart emoji to the post at the time, but didn’t confirm the couple was expecting a son until a celebratory birthday post Cassie shared for Alex the following month. The couple, who tied the knot in Malibu in 2019, welcomed their first baby together, daughter Frankie Stone, in December 2019. The singer and 1883 star’s second baby was born in March 2021, their second daughter Sunny Cinco.
The singer’s birth news comes just two weeks after she gave an emotional testimony at Sean “Diddy” Combs trial. Cassie was in an on-again, off-again relationship with the rapper and producer and she testified to her experience in the abusive relationship. Following her testimony, her attorney shared a statement from the singer speaking about her testimony. “I hope that my testimony has given strength and a voice to other survivors, and can help others who have suffered to speak up and also heal from abuse and fear. For me, the more I heal, the more I can remember. And the more I can remember, the more I will never forget.”
