‘Harry Potter’ Star Rupert Grint Quietly Welcomed Baby #2 with Partner Georgia Groome, Reveals Baby’s Name

Actor Rupert Grint is a father of two! The actor, most notable for portraying the role of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movie franchise, announced the surprise birth of his second baby with his partner, actress Georgia Groome. “A 10/10 baby (so far).”

The Servant star took to Instagram to share his baby’s birth. He and Georgia hadn’t previously shared that they were expecting a baby. Rupert posted a picture of his newborn with their face hidden and wearing a onesie with their name stitched on it. The couple welcomed a baby girl and named her Goldie. He captioned the post, “‘Secret Child Slightly Revealed’ Introducing Goldie G. Grint. ⭐ A 10/10 baby (so far).”

Rupert and the Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging star, who have been together since 2011, welcomed their first baby together in May 2020. Georgia gave birth to a baby girl named Wednesday. Similar to her sister, her full name is Wednesday G. Grint. The actor announced his daughter’s name and shared her picture in November 2020 in his first ever post on Instagram. He quipped at the time, “Hey Instagram….only 10 years late, but here I am. Grint on the Gram!” He continued, referencing his daughter, “Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert.”

The Knock at the Cabin star has notoriously kept his personal life private over the years and becoming a father hasn’t changed that about him. In 2022, he did share in an interview that he is “absolutely loving” being a father but admitted he’s “still kind of coming to terms with what being a dad is.”
